Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
At Master Chocolat, we take great care in packaging your order so that your chocolates arrive in excellent condition. As chocolate is a temperature-sensitive and perishable product, shipping times, weather conditions and destination may affect how and when we ship your order.
Order Processing
Orders are processed during our regular business days, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
During busy periods, including Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter, processing times may be longer. We recommend placing your order as early as possible during these periods.
If you require your order for a specific date, please include the requested date with your order. While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requested delivery dates, courier delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated based on the destination, package size and weight, and available courier service.
Shipping rates may vary depending on the recipient’s location.
Shipping Chocolate in Warm Weather
Chocolate is sensitive to heat. During periods of warm weather, Master Chocolat may delay shipment, adjust the shipping method, use additional protective packaging, or contact you to discuss shipping options.
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend shipping to certain destinations when weather conditions make it unreasonable to expect the chocolate to arrive in acceptable condition.
While we take reasonable precautions when shipping during warmer weather, we cannot control temperatures or conditions once a package is in the possession of the carrier.
Delivery
Once your order has been shipped, delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to weather, high shipping volumes, service disruptions or other circumstances outside of Master Chocolat’s control.
Where tracking information is available, it will be provided so that you can monitor your shipment.
We strongly recommend that someone be available to receive chocolate deliveries, particularly during warm or extremely cold weather. Master Chocolat is not responsible for deterioration caused by a package being left unattended after delivery.
Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including unit or suite numbers where applicable.
Please carefully review the recipient’s name and shipping address before submitting your order.
Master Chocolat is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned packages or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address or unsuccessful delivery, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.
Gifts
If you are sending chocolate as a gift, please ensure that the recipient’s complete name, address and contact information are provided.
Where available, you may include a gift message with your order.
Multiple Shipping Addresses
Orders being shipped to multiple recipients may be subject to separate shipping charges for each destination.
For larger corporate gifting orders requiring shipment to individual recipients, please contact Master Chocolat. Our team can assist with coordinating individual shipments.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or you have concerns about the condition of your chocolates, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please keep the product and all original packaging and provide photographs of the product, shipping box and any visible damage. This information allows us to assess the issue and, where applicable, work with the shipping carrier.
Depending on the circumstances, Master Chocolat may offer a replacement, store credit or refund.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If your tracking information indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check the delivery area and contact the carrier.
If your shipment appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact us and we will assist in investigating the shipment with the carrier.
Master Chocolat cannot guarantee carrier delivery timelines and is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
